Ildar Abdrazakov Appears in Concert Performance of Macbeth at Mariinsky

On July 29, Ildar joins a cast that includes Tatiana Serjan as Lady Macbeth and Sergei Skorokhodov as Macduff to reprise his acclaimed portrayal of the general Banco who haunts the ill-fated King Macbeth in Giuseppe Verdi’s adaptation of Shakespeare’s play. Valery Gergiev leads the concert performance at the Mariinsky Theatre, which is being held as part of the institution’s 22nd annual Stars of the White Nights Festival.
