In September 2024, Tokyo will host a concert performance of Giuseppe Verdi’s opera “Attila”. The title role will be performed by the world-renowned bass Ildar Abdrazakov. The performances will take place on September 14 at the Tokyo College of Music 100th Anniversary Hall (Ikebukuro Campus) and on September 16 at Bunkamura Orchard Hall.
Ildar Abdrazakov, recognized as one of the most sought-after basses of our time, will perform the title role of Attila. Maestro Riccardo Muti will conduct the performance. The opera will be presented in Concert Style.
The event is part of the Riccardo Muti Italian Opera Academy in Tokyo Vol.4, highlighting its international significance and high level of performance.
