On June 3 at 20:00 (GMT + 2) Deutsche Grammophon premium will be screening Gioachino Rossini’s L’Italiana in Algeri (The Italian Girl in Algiers) directed by the BAFTA-winning stage director duo Moshe Leiser and Patrice Caurier.
That sparkling performance was presented at Salzburg Festival in 2018 (and recorded in December 2019). The main roles were performed by: Cecilia Bartoli, Ildar Abdrazakov, Edgardo Rocha, Alessandro Corbelli, José Coca Loza, Rebeca Olvera. Conductor – Jean-Christophe Spinosi.
