The VII International Music Festival of Ildar Abdrazakov presents an extensive regional program

The festival’s regional tour begins in the Chelyabinsk region. It will then continue in Orenburg, where two concerts will be held at the Orenburg Philharmonic Hall – a daytime charity concert and an evening performance. The village of Alexandrovka, the homeland of the artist’s father, will become a special venue where Ildar Abdrazakov will give a solo performance. The festival will conclude with a grand gala concert in Ufa.

The regional part of the VII International Music Festival of Ildar Abdrazakov will feature selected vocal music compositions performed by: the festival’s artistic director, Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, People’s Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Republic of Tatarstan Ildar Abdrazakov, People’s Artist of Azerbaijan Dinara Alieva, Bolshoi Theatre of Belarus soloist Iosif Nikitenko, Helikon-Opera soloist Sofia Tsygankova, and “Ildar Abdrazakov Summer School” graduates Yulia Vakula and Elisey Laptev. The Chelyabinsk Symphony Orchestra and the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Bashkortostan will be conducted by Dmitry Kryukov, People’s Artist of the Republic of Bashkortostan and chief conductor of the State Academic Symphony Orchestra of the Republic of Bashkortostan. The piano part will be performed by international competition laureate Evgeny Sergeev.

Education remains an essential part of the festival. Ildar Abdrazakov will conduct a masterclass at the Children’s Philharmonic of the Chelyabinsk region, where young vocalists can learn from the experience of this acclaimed opera master.
The Ildar Abdrazakov International Music Festival, founded in 2018 by Ildar Abdrazakov Foundation of young artists support, is one of Russia’s largest musical forums. Since its inception, the festival has reached 19 Russian cities, attracting over 35,800 viewers in concert halls. A multi-million audience has followed the events through broadcasts on Mezzo and Russia-Culture TV channels, Culture.RF portal, the All-Russian Virtual Concert Hall project, and social media.

The VII International Music Festival of Ildar Abdrazakov opened on July 10 with a grand concert at the Mariinsky Theatre Concert Hall, featuring graduates of the “Ildar Abdrazakov Summer School” – a new educational project. The ten-day course in St. Petersburg gathered 12 talented participants selected from 480 applicants worldwide. Young performers underwent intensive training with outstanding opera performers and teachers, and attended lectures by recognized experts in various fields. The Summer School broadcasts attracted over 200,000 viewers from 37 countries.

Over the years, the Ildar Abdrazakov International Music Festival has featured performers such as Ramon Vargas, Lawrence Brownlee, Claudio Sgura, Veronika Dzhioeva, Vladislav Sulimsky, Dmitry Korchak, Vasilisa Berzhanskaya, and conductors Valery Gergiev, Speranza Scappucci, Alexander Sladkovsky, Fabio Mastrangelo, among others. The festival has become a significant platform for developing young talents and strengthening international cultural ties, combining classical art, educational initiatives, and charity.
