After a successful run as the diabolical Méphistophélès at Teatro Regio di Torino, Ildar brings his interpretation of the infamous villain to the Mariinsky Theater for a one-night-only appearance in Isabella Bywater’s production of Gounod’s Faust in June 23.
Cast members include Mikhail Vekua as Faust, Irina Churilova as Marguerite, Alexei Markov as Valentin, and Nikolai Kamensky as Wagner, performing under the musical direction of the Mariinsky’s General and Artistic Director Valery Gergiev.
