At the 2015 Salzburg Easter Festival, Ildar Abdrazakov appears with the Staatskapelle Dresden under the baton of Christian Thielemann for two performances of Giuseppe Verdi’s Messa da Requiem. On Tuesday, March 31 and Friday, April 3 in Salzburg’s Großes Festspielhaus, he joins soloists Liudmyla Monastyrska, Anita Rachvelishvili, and Jonas Kaufmann along with the Bavarian Radio Chorus.
In 2009, Ildar’s live recording of the Requiem with Riccardo Muti and the Chicago Symphony Orchestra was the winner of two Grammy Awards.
