On March 17, 2017 Ildar Abdrazakov will sing the role of Jean Procida in the premiere of ‘Les vêpres siciliennes’ by G. Verdi at the Mariinsky theatre (Mariinsky II). In 2011 Ildar already sang the role of a Sicilian doctor in Torino, production directed by David Livermore. This time Arnaud Bernard will be a stage director. The orchestra will perform under the baton of Valery Gergiev.
